The party enters the area and "all" items are removed...clothing, weapons etc. The idea is to survive the area by finding and using whatever is available. Lets say that all items found are base items and armors. Whoever in the party that can use the items gets it. Spellcasters must find a spellbook that containis a certain amount of spells. Once the party thinks they have found enough gear to survive...they will enter a cave/tomb/whatever, to search out the person or persons that has removed their gear. ((maybe Funky sitting on a horde pile of gold and gear?))

While that's a fine idea for a mod (especially a LAN party mod), it's so utterly separate from the rest of HG that I don't see much value in integrating it. Just the enter/exit scripts would be a tremendous undertaking.

Not to mention that since finding good gear takes a looooot of time and effort, having it stripped while zoning in would cause screams to resound around the globe.

Imagine the poor wizard, stripped of his strength-buffing items, hobbling along dragging his 20 stacks of heal potions....
All because some dumb drow thought it wasn't broken....

I'd never go on this mission. The reason? Server crash. Poof. Sorry, we have no record of your gear. I'd be more likely to play this as a stand alone mod with a Wizardry/Escape from the Pits of the Slave Lord type scenario.

Also it seems pretty stacked towards dex tanks above str tanks, who really less on gear, xD.
