Ok: Last Pillars event, AS A CASTER, I ran into the following issue.
I killed a Ssithrak and an PC with the same spell. I got the PK stone whether I wanted it or not, and then tried to take the Ssithrak stone because it was worth more, and its what I wanted in the first place.
When I got back to base, I got the points for the PK stone ONLY.
Now...I think that kinda bites. And penalizes casters.
Could the PK/Ssithrak stones be altered so that you get the points for the better one if they conflict? Or, so that you can get one of each?
Because its kinda lame to lose out on the better stone because you get the smaller point value one automatically, when you kill both things at the same time.
And a side note - as a caster, its quite possible to kill two or more players at the same time. I think casters should have the benefit of getting points for each PK, if they happen within a short enough window. After all, they did the work, they should get the reward.
Idea being that casters who AoE and get two or three people at *nearly* the same time should get points for each kill, but not to the point that a tank can carry a stone around and just keep killing people and racking up points without going back to base. Follow?
Could adjustments be made, to address both of the abovelisted situations please?

Could persons with stones glow, or have some other visible effect, that let's us choose our targets more effectively?

the problem is i feel like a lot of people would swoop in on fights with aoes and pick off mass points with a single spell

I think that is the point, a caster can hurt everyone in a large area where a tank has to attack one target at a time. In a one on one fight a caster the deck is stacked against the caster vs tank. But in a supporting role a caster has the the deck stacked against the tank. This is a caster's calling, ability to damage everthing in a AOE. This is SOP at the farm, desert, ect...

heck, it happens with tanks too. Pillars is opportunism at its finest, regardless of class.
