Hey, I noticed that when building a [test] character on HG, taking weapon focus unarmed strike (and no other weapon focuses) doesn't mean that clicking on the weapon rack gives you monk gloves. I got slings, quarterstaffs, scimitars, daggers, clubs, spears - all unidentified though.
Test build was barb/druid/monk, but this happened with a monk/sd/fighter build too.

Thanks for moving this. Now that I think about it, though, you don't need gloves for the bonuses to show correctly. The weapons are provided to make it easier to calculate abs, because feats like focuses and woc wont show their bonuses otherwise. This isn't the case with unarmed combat. Funky

Ah, ok, No problem. Would a shifter or druid using Dragonshape receive the AB bonus from monk gloves?
EDIT: ...Assuming of course they had a monk level, so they could actually wear them..

i didnt want to start a new topic that was dealign with samething so ill add this reply:
i was testing a 12ftr/3bard/25rdd and had an issues with the weapon rack: I could only get 1 weapon type to spawn from the rack, even if i had more then one weapon focus trained in the build. If I had lets says taken both greataxe and warhammer focus (in that order) i could only get a great axe to appear

Please read the server documentation, not the wiki, first. Funky That sounds like AB/Enchantment bonuses from gloves/weapons DO carry over when shifted, but I wasn't sure because of this: Weapons are similar to armor for shifters. The only things that transfer are the damage types on your weapon. Sorry if I'm being dense, but I can't figure this one out.

Weapon enhancements should be transferring over; if they aren't it's a bug. Test and see. Funky

I'm not sure if it works the same for gloves, but I helped Krown test the ab's of all his dragons with and without gmw (I was the punching bag) and as far as we could tell half of your weapons ab bonus gets added to dragon form ab. GMW did help, he got half of the gmw added to ab. He uses a db club (which has awesome damage types), but he did need a gmw for the ab. There was one exception, one of his dragons had a 72 ab and he had no idea why it was so high (most were 60-65). We chalked it up to the general buginess of shifters.

The dragon's base claw has enhancement iirc. You are noticing the difference between that enhancement and the GMW. Funky
