This is more of a question, but is a bit of problem. Every time my Druid is Rez from death it does this shapeshift thing and I lose all my spells I have set. I don't shift at all. I am a caster only. This is a pain I stand up and I have lost more then half my spells. It acts like it stripped off most of my gear, which is spell slot and wisdom items.
Question is why?
Thanks NightShadow

30 levels of druid, that is. Read the class and eqquip board in the docks, it talks about it there. Funky

I still get this, even though I am 35 druid, same as when I shift to dragon form I lose all my extra slots - is this intentional?

What's your class breakdown? Please describe what's happening in greater detail. Funky

35 Druid/1 Assassin/3 Monk. Whenever I log in, I lose all bonus slots due to Wis Equip and slots on belt (the +10 Wis/Druid slots one, forget the name.) I can reload them with spells and rest. If I take dragon form, I lost them again, or if I die I lose them until rest.

Yep, I get this as well with my 39 druid/1 Monk.
For what it's worth, I've had this problem on every server I've ever played on, some of which used some variant of Iznoghoud's improved wildshape scripts, and some that used entirely different wildshape scripts. This isn't a problem specific to Higher Ground.
I seem to remember being told this spell slot loss was due to the way Bioware's polymorph code worked, where the creature skin gets dropped and items are re-equipped onto the base form upon unshifting, and wasn't something that could be completely fixed. Check your spellbook while in dragon form. The spells will be grayed out, but you can still count them. Chances are, you're actually losing the slots when you *unshift*, not when you shift.
A partial work-around - Once you have 24+ druid levels, casting Owl's Insight (+12 to WIS at lvl 24) on yourself as part of your normal buffing routine prevents spell slot loss due to losing the WIS bonus on equipped items, as long as it doesn't get morded away (and you don't die). However, it doesn't help vs. bonus spell slots on items. You will still lose those.

You'll always lose slots on shift, just as when you unequip any spellslotted item. Nothing to be done about that, however, because of the Bioware implementation of spellslotted gear. You should NOT, however, be losing them when you die, though you will if you have stat buff effects running when you die. Are you seeing a the polymorph vfx firing when you die, njust very briefly?
