I'm horrible making a useful build so I'm here asking for help. I've been curious about a cleric and wiz/sorc build since I saw in a post someone mentioned having a cleric cast darkfire on a weapon that already has flame weapon cast on it because they stack. I've looked and havent seen a build that uses this combo. Anyone have any ideas about a build along these lines or know of one already posted?

No build uses this combo because mixed caster builds just don't hack it on HG. The person was no doubt using two different characters to buff the weapon. Funky

Flame Weapon and Darkfire have added damage and duration based on class level and Gmw scales with caster levels too- so if you went 20 Cleric 20 Wiz (or sorc) you'd have a much weaker and shorter lasting set of buffs for both classes. Here's the specifics from: highergroundpoa.proboards3.com/index.cgi?board=info&action=display&n=1&thread=6670(i.e. you need 30 levels of one caster class to get the basic +10 gmw before enchantment spell focus increases) Not to mention the fact that you'd have to juggle extra stats for the extra caster class. You'd be looking at putting lots of points into STR(or DEX if you go finesse and wear robes) CON, WIS & INT if you went Cleric/Wiz (replace INT with CHA if you went sorc). That itself doesn't help a build like this do well. Staffmasters get the Way Of The Staff item which lets them add one of a range of different damage types to their attack on top of what's included in their weapon and it stacks with their flame weapon.. highergroundpoa.proboards3.com/index.cgi?board=info&action=display&n=1&thread=6677Blackguards get Death's Kiss - so presumably Bane Knights have that too (on top of their sorcerer flame weapon). highergroundpoa.proboards3.com/index.cgi?board=info&action=display&n=1&thread=6669So if you want to be a self buffing character with two lots of added weapon damage and your very own decent GMW, I'd recommend either Staffmaster or Bane Knight. Have a read of the Character Build Discussion forum for the various builds for both Quasiclasses.
