My Divine Master has recently broke the lvl 40 mark, and needs to read a epic spell book, just not sure which one fits a battle cleric. I'm leaning toward these 2:
Instruments of Faith School: Transmutation ----- Description: The cleric calls for the tools to smite his foes, imbuing the weapons of his party with immense power. ----- Effect: Grants all party members +16 enhancement bonus on their weapons for 1 turn/2 caster levels. Only works if within 6 levels of the caster.
Aegis School: Abjuration ----- Description: The cleric weaves a barrier around each member of his party, warding them from the energies of extra-material origin. ----- Effect: This spell grants all partymembers 30/- restance to all exotic damage types (magical, positive, negative, divine) for 40 rounds. Only works if within 6 levels of the caster.
But there are so many good ones I do not know which one woudl be best

Downside to instruments of faith is that it has a really short duration compared to normal GMW. Another thing is that with cleric buffs you can easily get to +20 AB with just a +13 GMW and the enchantment epic is really nice too.

Go for the abjuration epic. It will be your best friend (and everyone else's) on the tougher immo runs (sissy's divine kb, beholders, probably pyramids though I've never been there, and definitely hells!).
