Massive Crits on weapons override the Overwhelming Critical Feat, so no, they don't stack.

I wouldn't worry about it too much though as none of the high level weapons I've encountered have the massive crits property. Whether you want to spend all these feats for a small addition in damage output is another question entirely. The only toon I've bothered with this on was a Ftr/Bard/RDD because he had some spare feats and with a scythe you get a reasonable damage boost on a critical.

IIRC, massive criticals are just added to the damage, not multiplied by the weapon's crit multiplier, so they aren't ant better on a scythe. Funky

The only reason the multiplier is taken into account is that the damage increases based on the crit multiplier: +1d6 is standard, +2d6 if the multiplier is x3, and 3d6 if it's a x4 multiplier. That is, if the wiki is correct. Which is a huge assumption. Wiki Link

That's discussing overwhelming crit, not massive crit. Funky

Sorry. Saw the subject about Overwhelming, and then saw chain talking about feats, and then glossed over the fact that you wrote massive instead of overwhelming. I guess I read chain's message as discussing whether it was worth using so many feats for OC, and how *it* was better with scythes, and I was referring to that. Sorry for not reading your post more closely Funky.
