I was looking to create a dual kama build with a decent balance of AC and AB/Dmg
I would prefer self conceal 1-5, epic dodge, uncanny dodge, improved evasion but I'm willing to give those up if necessary. I have three builds I'm looking at:
thri-kreen 25monk/5shadowdancer/10fighter
pros: good ac, ~60+ spell resistance, uncanny dodge, improved evasion, self conceal 1-5
cons: lower ab and damage than the other builds
wraith 31fighter/7weaponmaster/2monk
pros: great ab (from fighter epic prowess-stats), good criticals, and good saves
(could even switch to hand axes if you don't want ubab)
cons: okay ac (better than str still), no uncanny dodge, improved evasion, nor self conceal
thri-kreen 34 fighter/1mo/5hs (I haven't actually worked this one out completely yet)
pros: good ab (fighter epic prowess stats again), 12 attacks, good saves
cons: okay ac (better than str still), no uncanny dodge, improved evasion, nor self conceal
I think they all have decent saves (50+ in all minimum. sometimes 60+ thanks to the legendary save feats), epic dodge, and at least 10 attacks at decent ab
I guess to figure out which build I'm going for I have several questions:
1. i only need to take 1 monk pre-epic for the unarmed attack bonus progression? (3 steps per extra attack instead of 5) or can i take it epic?
2. the harper scout secret gives 2 additional attacks as offhand, or as the lowest attack bonus? what are the rolls for them? (I'm not sure how useful those 2 extra attacks)
3. how many high level things are critical immune?
4. what do saves/ac in hell need to be?
5. the figher epic prowess to stats - i can take that over and over? so I can basically get 10 extra stats from lvl 22-41 if I wanted to? they don't replace great stat 1-10?
6. Is spring attack a decent replacement for uncanny dodge? (used in my 2 figher builds)
Thanks in advance for the help! I'll post the build I choose later.
