I am working on the concept of a “Divine Super-caster.” There are a few fine points I want to make. First, this character is not designed for melee combat. Second, this character is solely designed for support roles in mass battles or large parties. Third, I’m a very blunt non-technical type person so the fine details are not an issue I will address. I want a build that any ole Joe can fire up and play with little to no knowledge and be held in high regards by the party he supports.
Goal: To have the most divine spells as reasonably possible. To have strong support playability.
Class combination would layout as so:
17 Cleric / 17 Druid / 5 Cleric / 1 Monk (monk at 40 for tumble dump)
Start Stats:
Str : 13
Con : 14
Wis : 15
Int : 14
Cha: whatever is left
Race : Human. No Sub-Class
With sole devotion to wisdom the character should have a nice bit of wisdom modifier. I’m not into math so we’ll say that is it high enough with all the wisdom feats and full attribute dump to be near 60 or so.
The spell progression would be something like this: (once again not a math person)
Cleric: 13 13 13 13 12 11 11 11 10
Druid: 13 13 13 13 12 11 11 11 10
All the heavy 'crab-nasty' armor and toys he can get to jack his AC. Plus some spells to help out.
What I want to know:
-Is this build feasible as a support caster in a LL group?
-Is this a desirable build to have as support in ‘your’ group?
-Could I survive to lvl 60 with this build?
Is my theory of mass spells and plate armor ludicrous?
Regards,
