Was hoping for comments on feat choice, because it seems to be a bit tight for clerics. I'm choosing to go pure FA cleric, for the level 60 Healing Circle bonus. Stats: Con 18 Wis 17->22 Cha 8->10 Everything else 8 Skills: Max Concentration and Heal only, 10 points left over Feats: Epic Focus: Evocation/Abjuration/Divination (one from book) - for Aegis, Miracle, Conversion (actually for Implode/EQ DC) Legendary Focus Evocation Epic Spell Penetration Luck of Heroes + Legendary Lighting Reflexes, Epic, Legendary Silent, Empower, Max Great Wis 10 Saves fully buffed will all be F61, R63, and W80+. The point of this build, of course, is to go to Hell ( a kid can dream). On second thought, I need one more feat for Legendary Spell Penetration, I was thinking of dropping Maximize Spell? The Kenku subrace looks better than FA!!!! It loses out on a Wis point but the ultimate DC ends up being the same as FA (just needs 18 wis to start, and Con drops to 16), as well it gets two free feats................. Edit: Recent consultations have informed me the level 60 healing circle is not worth giving up pally and monk level for.

Edit: Recent consultations have informed me the level 60 healing circle is not worth giving up pally and monk level for. Yes, as arch repeatedly notes, all the spells in the world won't help your party if your dead and can't cast them.

Mind you if you're not intending imploding stuff you could just be support cleric and take loads of gs and heals to keep everybody else alive. It would probably mean you'd need another cleric to take out the machines unless you like excessive quantities of positive area kb that is? Looks like you've done your maths on the Kenku thing and I'd suggest using that subby based on your findings. I'm not convinced its that unbalanced as it puts the cleric secret subby in about the same position as the wiz and sorc ones, I'd be on a mission to fetch it if I were you

there's no point in being 'just a support cleric' because normal clerics and even druids can already load up on tons of heals (my druid wearingdachy gear (haven't found anything tiamat for him yet )has easily 50-60 healing circles and 20 mass heals) while its certainly possible, parties will want healers who can turn around and implode a few things

?
This build is intended to implode stuff. Note the focus for evocation.
Which reminds me, forgot to get LSF Evo for my other build....

My H-C cleric can load up huge quantities of mass heals and healing circles and still have 36 implosions (admittedly with Tiamat gear). My suspicions are that you might suffer with an Int of 8 as you don't have enough skill points to maximise tumble (-8 ac) and discipline (bad things will likely happen to you in Hell without a decent discipline). I also hope you're good at defensive casting as it doesn't look like you're taking combat casting and improved combat casting and with practically no tumble you'll be suffering loads of attacks of opportunity if you move around in combat.

Ive toyed with the pure cleric idea as well, but after several attempts in the CB spreadsheet and {test} I gave it up. You end up with 1 less epic, crappy disc and lower ac because you cant max tumble. (though still get 30 if you have the skillpoints for it, but not with 8 base int) The only nice advantage is that you have 2 more spell penetration compared to the std. build, but as mentioned by others, not much worth if youre constantly dead ( for hells, prob. works nicely other places).
