We're basically wating for the big bugs to get hammered out, so that the server isn't crashing every twenty minutes (not an exaggeration). 1.05 had some very nice changes, and we may start development once 1.06 is final. Funky

I've played on a few NWN2 servers and the bugs have really made it difficult to play smoothly. One gem I remember is that, when the party leader switched to a new area, the whole party transferred with him/her, no matter where the members may have been. But they're fixing these things, luckily!

I purchased NWN2, but since I don't have high speed, have not even updated it yet. I found the itnerface very cumbesome, and the game to be jerky or laggy on my dual core, 2 gig memory machine.
My son however, really likes it. He said its far better than NWN. I tried to find the patches in downloadable files so I cna get them somewhere with high speed connection, but they seem to be trying to force you to use the update client rather than offering them in downloadable files.
If you know where I can find the patches in file format for NWN2, let me know.

We're not even there yet. I would start just by learning the basics, I expect it to take me a few weeks at least to get the hang of, and I even participated in the beta. Funky

Dunno, I like the flexibility the NWN2 toolset has to offer. If I want a player to walk among giant tables, stools, couches, I can do that. And I like the amount of detail you can give to (outdoor)areas as well. If ya need a mapmaker, funky, just shout!

We want all the mapmakers we can get. Once we decide it's stable enough for a pw, and we have an area plan, I'll do a call for all those interested. Funky
