This build is similar to Mish's Dark Grip but it takes a more universal approach. To be brutally honest it's not the most exciting build, it has good offence and good defense, but since bigbies were made virtually useless it really feels like a fairly plain tank. Still, if you are dying to make a baneknight then I can confirm that this build does fine anywhere in the mod.

Yep tenser's is a baneknight spell so it gets full caster level, therefore granting 4 base, and an extra attack at level 45 and 45 for 6 total, + 1 from haste.

I'll be damned...never even noticed the extra attacks. Quick question: with full Illusion feats, you could get a DC for Wierd @ 63-65. I know nothing about finger-wigglers...but is that useful enough to consider? Will a DC 63 take out a fair number of trash mobs to justify the feat expenditure?

There are only a couple of spells that have a double save check. Wierd is one of these, which makes it much more sensitive to DC reduction. if 63 is after the DC boost, you are probably in trouble.
