Hiya Do any of u know of a NIVIDA based PCI Express Vid card that places sound through it's HDMI port ? Tashsha

The technology has been around long enough, I figure you should just look for a card with an HDMI output.
The only thing you really have to consider is your computer power in terms of additional power connections to your video card, and what you are looking to get out of the card in terms of processing capability.

Lythe Thank you and I found one . . . the Nvida GTX 240 from Best Buy. It has a sound port through it's PCI Express card. I'm not sure yet if it's a sound card also or if it ports it's sound through the PCI bus. I just ordered it. I'll get it next week. Tashsha PS: I just recieved that Vid card today. It is a Vid/Sound card in it's owen, ie. it doesn't port sound from say a Sound Blaster, through the PCI bus. This isn't really a big deal but you do loose things like EAX.
