When I try to connect. I get a list of my characters, so I know it must recognize me. But when I try to enter with a character I get a CD Key Authentication failure.
Any ideas how I can get past that?

Have you swapped your CD Keys recently? Higher Ground uses a CD Key authentication system to prevent unauthorized access to your account. If you have swapped to your other set of keys (or are otherwise logging in with the second copy of the game), try swapping back and logging in. You can use your PC Scry to allow your second set of keys to be added to your account.

When I switch to the other set of keys, I can't get into the list of my characters. This is occurring earlier than with the previous set of keys. The message says higher ground server doesn't respond.
The master server at gamespy is not working apparently. Could that be the cause of the problem? Are you trying to validate keys through that?

No, our own system is in place partly because of exactly that reason, though. Go ahead and log in with your previous key you used to get into your playerlist. You can then use your PC Scry to add the other CD Key. The timeout is likely unrelated to any authentication issue and is not something I will likely be able to fix.

Thanks, it let me in. I'll try to add the second key.
Oops: I'll have to add the second key set later. The computer it was on had to be re-imaged and I haven't put NWN back on it yet.
Thanks for your help.
