I've been playing a War Chanter up to lvl 30, and concerning spells I seems to be confused about the documentation:
Displacement/Ethereal Visage:
Under War Chanter Spells Quasi Class Documentation:
"Displacement (grants EV conceal in light armor or robes; no 5% penalty for having less than 30 base Cha)"
Is Displacement essentially Ethereal Visage, since EV seems to not be a WC spell? Does that mean it gives EV lvl displacement to others?
From the Wiki:
"Ethereal Visage (full mage conceal if offhand is empty or wielding a two-handed weapon; 5% conceal penalty on top of bard penalty if any items in offhand)"
Does this mean I can get the conceal from using a shield with a conceal penalty?
All experience & help would be appreciated.

Never played a Chanter so all I can offer is what seems to be the most logical interpretation of the text:
Displacement *gives* the conceal that EV would. There are several instances, especially with quasis, of certain spells functioning differently.
I think what it means is that when you cast Displacement, rather than functioning as Displacement, it instead functions as EV (as cast by a sorc/wiz). Basically, what it's saying is that when you cast Displacement you gain EV conceal, but subject to the "rules" presented (equipped items, base Cha, etc.).
I could be wrong so don't take my word for it I guess, but that's always been my understanding when I read it.
As for your last question...I don't quite understand what you mean...sorry.

On warchanter you can wear robes/light armor + any shield ( not restricted to caster EV-safe ones ) and get full conceal ( up to 80% if pure, +5% if leg illusion ). If you cast displacement on others they get the standard 50% (+5% with leg ill ).
