Looked pretty good. I like the lighting, make up and camera work. The music is well-selected for the tone (which, I'm assuming, is dark?)
Text font for "Zombies" looked a little campy to me -- I'd keep it the same as the "Vampires" font...or maybe find something a little more gothic for both? (tough call I know - it's a matter of taste)
Other than that, I like it. It grabbed my attention and I'd remember the teaser when the full campaign started.
TIP: I used to play hockey with a cameraman -- he told me he got started by sending his portfolio to production companies and got hired on as a set photographer. Within a few years, he moved into camera work and now he's working in lighting and wants to get into cinematography. Not sure if this helps, but make of it what you will.
Thanks for the tips, Tomaan! Oddly enough, doing this project's lit a fire in me so I've been working hard networking in London and learning more about the game... all things being well, I'll be doing something similar to your friend in a new company soon!
So now I've got the next part out which I prefer.
...downside is that Vimeo's not playing ball and this may not play on portable devices... but your PC/Mac/Linux Box/Commadore 64 should be fine.
At 1:15 these two guys meet the vampyrs when fleeing, and they touch them on the shoulder. It looks to me somehow not right how they touch them. When I would flee from a gang of Zombies I would, well, behave other I guess.
The first teaser is is darker, more mysterious and looks better to me therefore.
