To get as many tagged as possible for Nessus by the end of the year and to cooperate with many time schedules here is a proposal: Fri 7th dec: Tia dis min Sat 8th dec: Tia dis min Sun 9th dec: Tia dis min Fri 14th dec: phleg styg Sat 15th dec: Malb phleg Sun16th dec: styg Malb Fri 21st dec: malad cania Sat 22nd dec: malad cania Sun 23rd dec: malad cania Fri 28th dec: Nessus? Sat 29th dec: Nessus? Sun 30th dec: Nessus
We might not need so much the first weekend, I'm unsure of what tags people have. My only concern is the 2nd week (14-16) as if someone doesn't have a tag, they will need 2 days of the 3 to get them. Hopefully we can get ourselves sorted and on the -HC- boards as that's where details will be further discussed.
I think we do have all classes available. For me there are two issues. One is timezones that people play in. We have about 15 players interested in Hell, but rarely seem to get 10 on at the time. Last Saturday we got 12 turn up for Phleg, but that was a rarity. The other issue is that people want to take their toons that need the tags. This is natural. We either need a bit of self sacrifice from some people to skip taking a toon that needs a tag in favour of a class needed for the party, or we run the same run twice with people with the same class taking turns at tagging and sacrifice.

I think you are bang on Tele. Scheduling and, by proxy, "required" classes are the biggest hurdles. When we have gone with big or balanced (either/or has worked) parties, we have won every layer that we have tried. Often with relative ease. Without this underlying structural power base, we effectively roll the dice, and sometimes get that ugly 1.
Having said that, difficult "firsts" are generally expected to be risky, and often resorting to plan B or C is required before ultimately succeeding. That's what makes them dangerous, and so exciting.
Preparedx, your question is the crux of what we need to succeed. Just off the top, here are some of the current active HC hell capable players/toons that I can think of (far from complete, of course):
Chain - lots Kingcamaro - lvl 69 CS ranger, and more Keithsan - lvl 69 Theurge, and more Kefkamasu - lvl 78 Wiz Kralex - lots SmilingCrow - lvl 72 Theurge, and more Teleben - lvl62 Bard, lvl71 Str Tank, lvl67 BFM, and more Maljin - lots Vichya - lvl 62 Battle Cleric Legaldeeds - lvl 61 Druid, lvl60 Bard Porticusa - lvl 67 Cleric Nahorl - lvl 70 Sorc Flip - lvl 65 Sorc, lvl61 Rog TheUltimateSin - lvl 70 Sorc Bad - lvl 60 Sorc Niilo - lvl 58 Cleric Gladiator - Hc cos - Elgrath Forestwalker -
We seem to have the critical mass to field the winning crew that we are looking for. How do we pull it together?
Trolling HC rip posts now Chirality... really? Give your head a shake man.
If this is a joke, I don't get it...
Edit: Ok, well I have to admit at first I didn't get it. I see now though what you must be referring to and ok, that's fair enough. I didn't intend that post as a flame or troll--what? eh?--but it could be taken as one. I had been trying to make a joke about the names of his sorcs...in the past we had joked about after the last one died...well, if it wasn't funny then I apologize, if it came across as a troll I apologize. "Too soon" maybe? KC, sorry if you thought I was making fun, and yeah now that I think about it I guess it wasn't that funny and you probably didn't think so anyway.
Well Enius, here's what I don't get:
a) Why you felt the need to approach me about hurting someone else's feelings
b) Come on did you really think I was "trolling"?
What's your deal? Honestly.
If you thought I was trolling all you guys who died, well that's wrong and meh, I don't even...why?? If you thought I was trolling you then, come on, get real. If you thought I was trolling KC then ok, way to stick up for your man but it's still a crazy notion and why would you speak for him anyway?
This is a weird game you're playing with me lately on the forums, can you give it a break already?
