I don't think there is anything that can be fixed unless you want to edit the Arf2 source code. The way bhao programmed it it quits if it can't download the arf2-server.ini file, which normally looks like this: [main] version=314u ini=http://www.hgweb.org/arf/arf2-server.ini self=http://dl.hgweb.org/arf/arf2-update.7z patch_name=NWN:HotU Critical Rebuild Patch 1.69 patch_info=http://nwn.bioware.com/support/patch_english_hotu.html patch_download=http://files.bioware.com/neverwinternights/updates/windows/english/NWNEnglish1.69HotUUpdate.exe patch_filename=NWNEnglish1.69HotUUpdate.exe cep_name=CEP cep_info=http://nwvault.ign.com/cep/ cep_download=http://nwvault.ign.com/fms/Download.php?id=147417 cep_filename=CEP_23_Full_C.7z cep_erf=http://www.hgweb.org/arf/hge-cep.txt hge_name=HG Enhanced hge_info=http://wiki.hgweb.org/wiki/HG_Enhanced hge_std_erf=http://www.hgweb.org/arf/hge-std.txt hge_gui_erf=http://www.hgweb.org/arf/hge-gui.txt
So whenever hgweb.org is unreachable Arf2 won't work, it's as simple as that. If you want to modify the source I would suggest saving that file to disk every time you successfully download it and in case it can't be downloaded use the version that's still on the disk.

Ah that error--sorry if I realized earlier that's what you meant I might have made this suggestion then, cause I did the same thing last time I installed on new comp, realized my mistake though
I could be wrong but I have an ARF2 folder, within the NWN directory. I cannot recall very precisely if this solved that issue for me, but I do remember definitely having that same error until I did some simple re-arranging and everything worked fine.
Try giving that a shot maybe?
Also, I could see most from your screenie but not the S+ filenames; just to be sure, double-check that you have all the different components of the arf install there in the same directory.
Edit: Well Vich is the master so, I'm probably not on the right track.
However I will note that he is unable to successfully progress past the log file check, even when someone else (like me, right now) can successfully communicate with whatever is needed to have the program run completely. Thus I wonder if there is more of a keyboard-end issue--especially since he said it was working fine up until he re-installed it.

I asked acaos to check this, but he had no issue downloading the file. Perhaps a temporary connection issue?
