For elemental shapes, I'd suggest turning them into Paraelementals (i.e. two elements at the same type)
I'd go with these 4 paraelementals Air/Fire - Smoke Elemental - aura concealment for allies, AB penalty / blind for enemies - levitation and incorporeal (Physical immune) Earth/Water - Ooze elemental - Acid damage/kb - can engulf a target, basically a persistent grapple attack that deals damage Air/Water - Ice elemental - Can freeze (stone) enemies, deals significant slash/piercing damage with claws - lower defenses Earth/Fire - Magma elemental - Tanky, can't be knocked, dmg reduction - on hit fire/bludgeoning dmg and has a small fire vulnerability aura
Other random ideas: -Elemental dragons -Elemental animals
Additional ideas cna be taken from systems like D20 or others.
