Just an incident report:
Server 212 just reset; 5:06 p.m. PDT.
Three different user accounts (rhodar, rhodar2, evil_ninja) had issued the !delayreset command prior to the server reset; all three had actually issued the commands multiple times, so that all three were receiving the "you have already..." message when trying to issue the command again.
The server reset anyway, which in this event was inconvenient because a tag battle (Water Shrike Nest Mother) was in progress.
Just a head's-up.

Not sure if I'm remembering wrong... but it was my understanding that multi-boxers aren't able to use !delayreset (perhaps due to checking IP address)? From memory, a bot using the command would receive the "you have already..." message as you mentioned.

It was a second box behind the same NAT router, so if it is as you say, that'd explain it.

Kas and Poli are correct, you must use different IP addresses to delay a reset, multiboxers under normal conditions have no better options for delaying reset than single box players do unless they for some reason have multiple ISP's as well, you will also receive a "server reset has been delayed for 15 minutes" message when it works so you can be sure you got it done

if youre desperate and have a vpn you can do it yourself but this can cause problems if youre logging the same toons/cd keys on different IPs so i wouldn't recommend it, next time just shout and someone will undoubtedly come and help you delay

Thanks all! Will try to learn from the mistake. No promises, now; I'm quite thick-headed.
