if i remember correctly, i think that those robes area armor with -spell failure, so if you don't have armor prof. you won't be able to wear them, i'm not completly sure but kinda close, also, to get the prof., wear a cloak of wonders to equip it
Edit Yep, just checked, they are a light armor

The Drow Commander in the Dark Glad may be bugged. Last night me and 3 others could not damage him no matter what we tried. We tried all melee damage forms and elemental forms to no avail. He was also immune to Divine, Pos, Magical and Neg damage.
We even tried using a mage to kill or damage him. I wasn't playing the mage but this player used a wide variety of spells.
Seemed as if he was tagged as immortal via the toolset or something.
Thanks for your time,
Groo

Please help with the lag. Even after reboot the lag is bad. Not sure why I just know it is there.
And Thanks Higan, It was the light armor that was keeping me from using it. I will pay closer attention in the future. thanks Bull

Kyle, there is nothing I can do if the server is lagging after I restart it. It must be that Dungeon Server is having issues with Gamespy. Sorry, but there is literally nothing I can do. It might also be the sheer mass of the Server Vault, Databases, and Module Size that is attributing to some of the lag. FYI: MOD production on PoA will stop very soon, once the Crown Quest is restored again. We are moving on to making our own module, simply named Higher Ground. PoA has been kind to us, but it's time we put a "broken" module to rest. It's a decision the DM team is embracing, and we hope the rest of you guys as well.

After using whirlwind attack all other actions just hang and never occur. The only exceptions are that you can still walk, pass through doors, and drop/pickup objects (these all occur at lag speed). This has the potential to be an exploit also because it seems that it makes the pc immune to any physical attacks.

Is magical immunity, aka 50% magical damage immunity not working?
And are there any other damage immunities you know do not work?

Negative does, I confirmed that. It and positive were supposed to be fixed with 1.64, dunno about positive though
And what's the messy way?

its just a weird way, it can't really be used by players unless specificly designed and if it was it would be sucky anyways and its main use is just on monsters

As to the Whirlwing attack sticking, its a bioware bug with a simple fix. Just unequip and reequip your weapon, that'll fix it.

So I'm soloing Hobgobs, and the Sorcerors are throwing all they got at me as Firebrands
My poor little Dwarf fails his reflex save, but no messages about damage: no message about reduction, immunity or anything at all
So whilst I'm enjoying the free ride (take THAT Mr Jugrum) this has gotta be a bug.
