Can we have the following things adjusted to check your person AND / AND THEN your wallet?
- Scrolls of the miser - Restoring Ghostly Echoes - Weapon crafting at the alchemist - Using the set price auction chest - Crafting your characters appearance
Add to this list any other thing which doesn't check both. This would be a significant quality of life win for players.

If it’s possible to have it set-up such that it pulls either the total amount, or as much as exists (if not the complete amount) from the character, and then draws from the wallet this would be ideal. If this is too difficult or not viable. Having it just check player first for the total sum, and then the wallet second for the total sum would still be amazing and a huge win.
Another suggestion is to just ALWAYS check the wallet for all of these things, never check the gold on the player, and then the onus is on the player to just actively deposit and be done. With more thought, this is actually the best idea I think.
It’s very frustrating to not be able to withdraw gold to use a miser scroll as the result of a slag (or multiple slags) when you have enough to cover it.

I was under the impression that's exactly how Scolls of the Miser were supposed to work to make you plan your run and events that may occur (SoS, Arport, etc.)?

SOS, Apport, etc can all be pulled from a portable hole. These can be opened in Limbo and Limbo is a free rest zone. So none that really applies. These items once “rested” can also be transferred to other players for immediate use. These items all function correctly and appropriately. There are no unnecessary burdens on the use of these items.
Planning your run would mean you always carry misers on you. Planning your running would mean you always have 50 million gold available to you. Where that gold resides should be irrelevant because it’s all tied to the player, it’s all your gold.
The differences being your character has gold caps. Lots of runs give significant chunks of gold. Players are conditioned to routinely deposit to mitigate this. The messages when you try to transfer gold even tell you to leverage the wallet for things related to gold.
Teleport gems and ROR usage also deduct gold from players meaning that you are then forced into very specific windows to withdraw this gold. Given that you also depending on the run, the party composition, and character may get slagged multiple times in one run? There is no realistic way to plan to have a certain amount on you and then also ensure you aren’t losing gold to the gold cap.
The wallet exists due to the gold cap on players. Functionality exists for a lot of things to pull from this. All this ask is doing is to expand that to a lot of other high touch point things which would be a huge quality of life win, in as it relates to scrolls of the miser specifically ensure that players are required to plan (do I have enough gold? Do I have enough miser scrolls consistent with my possible exposure to slag) without actually placing the player in a situation where they lose gold due to capping out, and / or withdrawing some and being docked by porting, etc.

Please don't do it for the set price auction chest, I always deposit all my gold before browsing so if I accidentally grab something while trying to examine it, I haven't bought it.
