Hi, Anyone else a bit bummed that when you make an assassin now you have to decide between the new deadly attack and self conceal? One of the cool things about lots of assassin levels was that they had Great Dex and Self Conceal on their epic bonus feat list. There's no way a Str based one would get self conceal, but dex based ones usually did. Is it possible to lower the level requirement for honing for dex based ones to 25 instead of 30 so they can still take self conceal with either of the methods of getting it (13 non-assassin levels needed the one way, 15 the other). The issue would also go away if you said you needed 30+ Rogue+Assassin levels (min 10 assassin levels) Perhaps that's doable since Assassin is basically a prestige Rogue. Maybe its fine as is and perhaps the dex method is too powerful in play? I haven't got that far along with an assassin to see it in action, but it just seems wrong to say that only the least deadly assassins can self conceal, the really good ones can't . Dave.

What requires the extra non-assassin levels? You can pick up Improved Evasion on 9 Monk or 10 Rogue. Either way, 30 assassin is still no problem.

What requires the extra non-assassin levels?/quote] I guess I was thinking you needed defensive roll too, but that's just for Epic Dodge. It may be fine for self conceal, just no epic dodge (not as bad). Thanks, Dave.
