I have no idea if this is possible, but it would be interesting to see what actually gets sold at the wandering wyrm. I see some items that are relatively easily obtained being offered for outrageous prices. I keep wondering if anybody ever buys them.
Knowing what sells for what price would also help players make decent additions to the chest. One of the reasons I rarely use the chest is not trusting my price choices.
Maybe a bulletin board listing the last 20 sales or some such.

I see some items that are relatively easily obtained being offered for outrageous prices. I saw you also asked about this on the newbie chat jelricle but you should maybe check the items to see if any desirable properties are added in green (eg Daze immune, Sleep immune, Stun immune) or perhaps they have a desirable augment added (greater spell focus, or spell slots, etc). If the item name is in pink when you check it, then it has an ego added to it (not strippable). But yes, an auction price history would be interesting. You could probably do that yourself by pulling from the api feed and recording it somewhere.

Thanks boroie , live and learn. My use of the "!newbie" channel is self-descriptive! :-) So "Daze" is one of those characteristics which you sometimes need explicit immunity to, rather than counting on "mind spell" immunity. Now I am worried about what properties I might have missed when I was selling to the armor shop keeper! :-D Great to know. Thank you!! I'm afraid I have no idea, yet, how to pull from the API, but will see if I can find some documentation.

Yes, if you see a property (or properties) added in green to an item then sometimes these can be highly desirable. I would suggest looking at some of those very high priced items to see examples. Daze, Stun, Sleep, Flesh to Stone, spell immunity PWK/Weird/Thunderclap, etc can be potentially quite valuable. Certain augments also will be very valuable.
Always feel free to ask in !newbie or post on discord with a screenshot if you need help determining value. There can be a lot of worthless properties added too. Also regarding Daze, this is typically not something you would need explicit immunity to outside of late/end game content. You can also just drink a potion of clarity. The further you get in the game you will find that you need explicit immunities to certain conditions and that generic mind or fear immunity will not cut the mustard.

Daze, Stun, Confusion, Shield Proficiency, 5d6 Sneak Attack, Immunity level 6 and below, Epic Spell Focus, Spell Immunity: Implode, Greater Dispel, Weird, Wail, Great Thunderclap, Flesh To Stone, Power Word Kill & Sleep added in green are all pretty to highly valuable on something wearable and can be insanely valuable on something already "godly" randomized.
UR Augs (!list augments is your friend) with level 4 thru 9 spell slots are very valuable (10-50 Billion in the aug shop depending on the day) Both Salamander augs sell for 20+ Billion there too. Other UR augs also get pricey 7-20 Billion.
As for the Wyrm price chests the general free market rules apply "it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it"...a lot of vets have insane amounts of gold and paying 10+ Billion for a Shield Pandect or race book for their new alt account is worth it to them.
Don't be afraid to use !newbie if you think you found something really nice and it's a good idea to shop publicly any Master Ego on something really nice...you will likely wind up with a truckload of gear and racebooks from a vet if it's better than what their using.

Really useful and great reply KE! Admittedly I have sold some pieces of gear with properties you listed in green to the armor shop as well. So, thank you and Boroie both for listing these out.
