I'm wondering if the idea I brought up before about removing or revamping shapestrong rage from barbarians is still being considered? Just to recap, barbarians can be medium size and wear a shield with a large weapon, which is a really nice feature. Shapestrong is used when you want to swap weapons so you become large, then hit shapestrong again to return to medium size. If you just swap weapons while medium size, you lose your shield. The extra steps can cause you to be flat footed and your ac drastically decreases, leaving you vulnerable to damage by having to go through the extra steps. Thus, this is now a qol issue, rather a functionality issue.
Yes, you can just stay large, but your damage is less than when you are medium so it's not really worth it. You can also go without a shield, but that really defeats the purpose and negates the ability that barbarians get which separates them from other classes, so let's leave those arguments to the side please. This thread is here to simply ask if the change is still being considered as I thought it was on the table some time ago.

iirc Barbarian weapon swapper mechanism is/was/will be approved and is on the "to do" list with the hundreds of other changes/fixes/upgrades waiting to be coded/scripted.
So expect it in "3 days" :-)

Can the mechanism for thundering rage be changed to act in the same way tannarukk flame weapon does?
As it stands the thundering rage feat is a detriment, the dice is lower then most weapons it overrides and it applies to any weapon you're holding when you rage applying sonic, which can be very irritating as you have to cancel it on the weapon or switch weapons when you rage.
The tannarukk only applies if the weapon you're holding has fire on it, changing the thundering rage to apply in the same way would be make the feat actually useful
