I did a drag Lolth run and the lowbie did not receive the (LL) tag; the "You cannot gain experience, tags, or random loot from a boss when characters over the boss level cap have entered the boss's area(s)." message replaced the kill xp.
The same toon with the same set of circumstances did receive the (LL) accomplishment for defeating Xulrae (thus, obviously the kill was resolved as normal), so I did not expect that the overlevelled-toon blocking script would prevent the (LL) Lolth tag.
I suppose that for Xul, the xp from the kill was not blocked, so the toon received credit for the kill and got the tag, but for Lolth, the xp was blocked.
Is this intended? Or is it a bug due to Lolth's splitting mechanic not being properly accounted for by the anti-exploit?

According to UPDATE 2020-11-22:
-Antiexploit added: --Many pre-LL bosses will no longer give loot, tags, or xp if an over-level character enters areas linked to that boss. A warning will appear over the head of anyone entering one of these areas if an overlevel character has been in the area. --The list of bosses includes: Queen Zerya, Solis Gaobin, the Shadow Pontiff, the Queen Spider, Elanna Nightstar, Captain Angus Materi, the Black Dragon Knight, the Ancient Kings, the Headmaster, Deadpool, Glithildhoul, Wastalgraniq, MoaD, Lolth's Handmaiden, Lolth, and the Immortal.
It's true that this note does say that "tags" will no longer be given, but I think it's worth explicitly mentioning that, for the case of Lolth and Immortal, this includes the LL tags (which exist primarily to allow advancement into LLs) and not just the pre-LL tags (which, on the other hand, are encapsulated within the "lowbie tag" system that enforces level caps for a voluntary reward).
I would like to see the LL tags allowed by drag, since this essentially makes pre-LL tags mandatory, rather than optional. This completely negates the concept of "skipping tags" and obviates "dragging" through 1-40 content, since requiring no L41+ characters present for Lolth is the same as forcing an L40 party for the critical capstone run, even if the non-immo toon in question was able to party with L80s for xp, LL tags, and even do the heavy-lifting on the required Lolth lead-ups, such as collecting keys, and even defeating Xulrae for access to Manatakloss.
This is rather like allowing L80s to drag a L60 through ness, only to defeat asmo and have the tag blocked because toons over L60 were on the map, despite being able to acquire a skull after being dragged through tia by L80s.
If pre-LL tagging is mandatory, make it mandatory. If dragging is ok, then let that be ok. It was fine for toons to have been dragged through Lolth/Immo into LLs for almost 20 years; in fact, players were told that pre-LL tagging is optional, and those lacking the time or interest to do so were still encouraged to skip tags and get dragged for the sake of streamlining the journey into 41+ content. Now, suddenly you can't drag thru anymore? So I can skip lowbie tags up until the hardest, most time-consuming, and most important ones? Why would I bother skipping the easier and faster ones in the first place then? I won't say it boggles the mind, but it's absolutely ridiculous to let matrons drop keys, Xul provide tag, blue orb spawn, and immo crown pop when a toon over L40 is there, but the actual tag itself is denied, which really creates a "gotcha" feeling.

bump
i'd still like to know if it is actually intended or not (and continue that conversation)
if it's an oversight or unintentional or a bug, can i ask a dm to give me the LL lolth tag?
