Negatai account reincarnation problem

Hello, 

Today I took my 64 level negatai pale master and spoke to the light.  It was originally made on my Miles_Atma_Negatai account.  I made a new negatai subrace toon, and when I spoke to the light I was stalled because the light says I need a copy of the subrace I wish to use - as if I am upgrading a negatai to a negatai. 

I have not played this toon in many moons, and so I have no idea what could have gone wrong. 

If possible could someone please look into this so that I do not lose the effort - but if no dice, it's fine, I'll just play the new one from scratch.

Also my 80 level 40 sorc reincarnated to an 80 level 40 sorc and lost exp for some reason.  I'm not sussed over either of these issues, though I did want to report them should something be done to correct the abnormalities.

I wonder if your original reincarnation to negatai was legitimate. Meaning, did you reincarnate to the 64 negatai pale master but your account wasn't actually tagged for negatai? I've never encountered an issue with reincarnations using existing tagged subraces. Can you confirm using !List subs if the account is tagged?

How long do you have left on the reincarnation week?


Regarding the sorcerer, how much XP did the original character have? How much XP does the reinc have. Quite often if you reincarnate really close to the 125,000,000 mark you still lose XP.

the sorc was close to 125,000,000, and it didnt lose too much exp so im not worried about that at all. thanks for confirming that some exp loss is common so close to 125,000,000.


yes the account was created many years ago because i got a negatai book.   !list subraces provides a list of races, negtai being one of them, but that doesn't help to prove the original 'B@leful' (named)  toon was negatai at the time.  i guess its possible i used a whisper gnome to get the toon to 60 so that i could use a book and then remake the toon.  I could have swore my pm was a negatai, but since there has been so much time that  has passed, I'm not sticking to my memory as being fail proof.  i did a test and it did give me the exp for a regular no subrace toon, so apparently the original toon was not considered negatai tagged.  i just did this today (few ours ago) so i have the full week left to fix this.  I deleted the toon that was a no subrace toon and so if i find a negatai before the week, ill use it, and if not, it isnt a big deal at all.  I'll just level up a new toon.

I believe if you delete your reinc toon and then go to make a new one with that slot, when you speak to the light it will tell you the XP and subrace of the original character when you go to use that slot. You might be able to confirm if it was negatai in the reinc 'bank'. 

As for reinc at exactly 125,000,000 or close, it is said you need a buffer to make sure there is 0 xp loss so I have always had a few extra million on top of 125m before reincing a level 80.

When I speak to the light, it mentions the exp available, and build breakdown, but it does not indicate subrace.
It will allow a regular non-subrace reincarnation to go through, but not my whisper gnome.  It was so long ago that I am just going to write it off as user error (which is often the case).

The problem is that


"Whisper Gnome" (secret UltraRare)

while

"Negatai" (secret Beyond UltraRare)

You are trying to upgrade the tier of the Whisper Gnome to Negatai, so, yes, it wants a Negatai book in spite of you already having the race.
