For any who are interested in HGX scripting... IronPython 2.7 was pretty old and hard to get libraries working. I've recompiled the HGX.Scripting.dll, and updated the version of ironpython to 3.4 I've also included a few extra libraries in the stdlib.zip drive.google.com/file/d/19hL1GL6qQyzEM4fbaW5egu4OeFQIUCP_/view?usp=share_linkNote: This is probably only relevant if you are writing HGX scripts (Or using HGX scripts that have been written for the newer version)

If we haven't put HGX back on a setup is there any reason to pick this over the old or vice versa?

Pick the old version. This is new and less tested. Unless you're specifically writing hgx scripts and wanting python 3.4 there is no point to using this.
