Hi there
I'm not sure if AC and items for shapechanged druids are working correctly.
The Bear (GRRRR) is AC13 when bare naked (ahem)
With Ring +2 he's AC 15 (Deflection +2) With Boots of hardiness +1 he's AC 14 (Dodge+1)
But with both Boots and Ring he is still AC15. Shouldn't dodge and deflectioin stack? They do in non-shifted form.
Also, when shifting, there is a message "Multiple items with deflection bonuses do not stack". So it looks like the merged boots are being treated as deflection not dodge.
Any help here?

I looked at this, it's a strang bug. It SHOULDN'T be doing this, but it is. The only explanation that I can come up with is that Bioware altered the related 2da in patch 1.66. Please inform me of any other difficulties you encounter in the future when shifting, and I will try to fix this after I get an idea of the scope of the problem.
Thanks, Funky

Thanks Funky The other issue I have is that shifting "unequips then re-equips" items when merging back to normal. This means that spell adders and WIS stat boosters wipe all the extra spell slots. More correctly, the slots are still there but the spells are wiped from them. This is really a problem for druids (not so bad for shifters) who end up having all their spell selection nerfed whenever they shift. Not only do you have to rest to get the spells back but you need to open the spell selection and reassign the spells to the empty slots. Grog

Ouch. Not sure if I can fix that, though it certainly sounds annoying. I'll do what I can, gonna look at it in detail after next update. Funky

In case you are curious, I am still working on this. I believe the cause involves the fact that they removed the natural ac slot from character file options in 1.66 and made a few other changes. Interestingly, if you cast barkskin and shift, it sticks, which means I SHOULD be able to fix this, given time. Assuming I figure it out, I will probably still have to dwell on it some; since dragons are already incredibly powerful as a class, I think them being at a slight ac disadvantage to other classes is not a terrible thing, but I will have to see just how great that disadvantage is.
