Hi, Saller Aseph here, and I am a long time player of this server, but this is my first post on boards...
First and foremost, a huge thanks for the DM team ! You guys are all great, and its so much fun coming back after a LONG break of NWN playing.
Now to the "problem" - I recently found out the hard way that some spells are not scribable. Found this out when trying my first lich (not quite there yet). The problem is that I missed out on the fact that undeath to death is actually a good spell (it was always useless before) and I didnt take it at level up When I tried to scribe it to a scroll, it didn't work ! This is not mentioned (as far as I know) on the Feat itself or in any books on server that I can remember seeing, which is a drag - I would have to delevel my char 16 levels just to get that spell on a wiz level up or find the spell on a scroll. This problem is espescially bad if you are going for 30 PM levels since the spells you choose before that are extra precious.
What I propose is that all spells that are not scribable are clearly identified in the spell book or on the server somewhere, so that this is understood by people playing caster types - its NO fun to lose a lot of levels because of this ...
Kind Regards ol' Saller

I'll be happy to post them if you want to make a list. You should know that some, like time stop, simply require a component. Funky

I ran into this same problem with my lich. As I recall, however, a kind fellow adventurer did in fact scribe this spell for me. Whether it required a component or not, I am unsure.

undeath to death can be scribed by a cleric with the scribe scroll feat. i will be making a list of non-scribeable spells by class sometime in the next couple of weeks or so. i'll post it when it's done.

Hmm. I shall have to try to scribe it. I am a wizard, of course.
I have noticed that I have not been able to scribe remove blindness/deafness. I'd assumed that was intentional by the DMs...no?

No, we've placed no restrictions on spell scribing - yet... ;D Funky
