Hey Funky,
I don't know if you can help me with this but here goes. From the moment I click the 'Neverwinter' icon I get what I'll call lag. When I click 'Multiplayer' I still get lag, when the rooms start scrolling up they don't really scroll they just sort of appear. When I get into the game and try to move my character there is no fluid movement he just pops around the screen. I had to replace my RAM a couple of days ago, I let the experts install it, and I upgraded to 1GB but I don't know if that is the problem. I re-installed the program thinking that would help but it didn't. Can you help?
Thanks, Badger

If it's starting from the load screen it's almost definitely the RAM. The last time I let 'experts' install my RAM they gave me the wrong kind - I had ddr2 and they gave me ddr. I was getting random crashes whenever the comp tried to use the new memory. Yuo may have a similar issue. Message me the email addy you want it sent to and I'll email you a memory tester - it needs a cd burner to burn a checkdisk, tho. Funky

also be sure your cpu is at least the minimum requirement to run Neverwinter Nights and your hard drive isn't heavily fragemented. Place your windows swap file on your fastest hard drive, and close any unnecessary programs before starting nwn.

I get that if I leave NWN at the Main Menu for a while, I just exit out to desktop and go back in and its ok
