I used to get extra slashing damage from the whetstone for my kama but now when i use the whetsotne i get extra bludgeoning. Also, when I use the whetstone on my hammer, it gives me extra slashing damage. I dont know if this is how it should be, but i do less damage as they dont stack with one another to beat resists.

it didnt stack in the first place. before the update it either overwrite the ench damage bouse or has no effect.

Should my level 23 figher 27 weapon master (now LL54) have a whetstone as he was created before the updates for fighters and I don't seem to have one?

Doomsdaybringer, i wasnt referring to stacking with gmw enhancement, i was referring to stacknig with base weapon damage. for instance hammer does 1d8 bludgeoning, and i use whetstone for 2d12 more damage, however in my case im getting the 2d12 as slashing damage, so instead of doing all damage as bludgeoning to beat a creatures resists, i am only doing a portion of bludgeoning which may not beat it , then the additional starts over against a new resist, in this case slash. If this is how it is supposed to be then so be it, i was just curious

Doomsday knew what you were referring to. The added damage wasn't taking because it didnt stack with the damage added by enchanment bonuses, so you are doing more damage now, extra resist chance or no - that's why it was changed. Funky
