Hey Funky...
Something may not be quite right with the Ethereal Visage re-scaling - the book now says that its 85% at level 59 as of the last update.
However, it isn't. Before I took 60 but after the update, I was 59...and the concealment was 89%. I noticed this on ancient guardians, who have the concealment bonus listed when they miss a knockdown/disarm. It was 89%. Checking the combat log confirmed it.
Also - magic missle. As far as I can discern, it neither bypasses 10/- resistance, nor Spell Resistance, and the book claims it does one or the other.
In addition - Quillfire not only bypasses SR, but also bypasses *spell level immunity*. Aka immune to spells level X and under (through both EV and Globe). I don't know if that is intentional or not, but thats what happens.

I use it as one of my main atks?

You should also note that quillfire bypasses spell mantles too.

Indeed it does.
Though it occurs to me, that making quillfire subject to the spell-level-immunity will make a lot of bosses immune to it - like Dachy most notably, but thats a balancing issue, and one for the DMs only.

Indeed I lose one of my only good spells on some dragons. Quilfire doesn't even do that much dmg. =/

From what I can tell - your level 2 does as much as my level 8, I just get more targets with wilting, but you bypass SR (and apparently, everything else) But I will admit it is a great spell against Dachy. However, the positive damage from earthquake works very well on two other dragons I can think of out there, and bypassing their SR is also a good thing.

Shows how much I don't play druid.
Still - things level 3 immune and below, like some bosses or other critters in the Abyss, just means that Searing Light and Quillfire must be shelved in place of something else, thats all...
If clerics can live with losing one of their huge damage spells, can druids?

If clerics can live with losing one of their huge damage spells, can druids? well druids dont get as much spell as mage or cleric removing/nulling their qullfire would be like nulling mage's igm and wail or cleric's implsion... if you dont believe me just take a look at druid's spell book.... i personally think if dm start to nerf any class it should start with mage and cleric not the weakness caster class druid....

No one is talking about nerfing anything. I was going to fix a bug with quillfire, but doing so without removing its ability to ignore spell resistance prooved to be a fairly involved task, one that didn't seem worth the effort. If you think druids are weak compared to clerics and druids, I humbly submit that either you haven't played one, didn't play a good one, or have little understanding of what the class is about on HG. Defensively, they are much better off that sorcs and druids, and they pay for it in other ways. You guys have gone pretty far afield from the topic of the post, so I'm locking it. Funky
