Hi,
there's a typo in the description of the Tenser's Transformation spell (forum, don't know if it's right in the book). It says you'll gain +1 ab per 2 casterlevels, capped at 40 for an ab of +40, which actually should be +20.
But there's something else: As I wanted to test a staffmaster (really nice class [on paper] with the blackstaff +20 and 90% conceal), I tried to maximize and empower Tenser's Transformation for more hit points. With the new spell this doesn't work, hp gained is still rolled normally 40d6 at casterlevel 40. I don't know if you're supposed to maximize or empower the original spell, but maybe this could be done with the altered version of Tenser's Transformation too (a level 60 caster would run around with 600 temporary hit points, could be overpowered, but a very nice add for staffmasters).

Thanks, I'll fix the typo. As for the rest, Tenser's won't be getting any more boosts. Funky

You should be able to empower it though, Mal - not that this would help your hps, but it would keep the +ab bonuses around longer, thus letting you vamp-touch your own hps Drow is thirsty...desires life force badly... -Vampiric Delfestra, film at 11.
