It honestly doesn't sound that revolutionary - correct me if I'm wrong but the video make it look like they've just taken the concept of parallel processors and vastly increased their effeciency by placing them all on one chip rather than having them as seperate CPUs.

Cell Processors are the "answer" to the problem of running out of space on a molecular level on the new CPU cores. (Unless stacking cores ontop of each other is an "answer") MY opinion.. The next big thing to really happen will be hard drives. In 5 -10 years I hope that the only moving part in my system will be fan's as we develop a more stable flash memory. Cd's and Dvd's will still have to spin I suppose. I suppose the solid bet is that IBM will inovate in this area the most. As they have been the leaders in that space forever.
