I have just noticed when I was trying to burn myself a CD that my E:/ drive is not accessible. When I double click it it shows up a warning then it says "E:\ is not accessible. Incorrect function." Now for the question. Is there something wrong with my computer? And how can I fix it?

Yeah, that's not so good. Do you, or did you, have Easy CD Creator installed?

Open Adminstrator Tools, then Computer Management, select Disk Management. See if the cd drive is listed, possible the letter changed. If it is change the letter of the device thats using drive E: to anther unused drive, then the cd drive to E. If the drive didn't show right click on My Computer, select Properties. The select Hardware, , then Device manager, then IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers. Right click on the IDE channel the cd drive is connected to (probably secondary channel) then select properties, then Advanced Settings. Try changing DMA mode to PIO mode. This might work but its also possible the lasar is wearing out, which would require a replacement.
