The Spell Penetration for Delayed Blast Fireball doesn't seem to be properly taking LLs into account.
Used it today in the Pyramid, and the roll was 1d20 + 48...as if I was level 40 with the 4 spell pen feats. I am, of course, level 60 with the four spell pen feats. Should've been +68, baring other effects.

It's suspect it's not DBF, but rather something to do with the way I applied spell resistances in the pyramid, or so it seems. Try it in other areas and lmk what results you get. It's conceivable I overlooked it in the scaling to LLs, but there were some odd results coming in the readouts during alpha runthroughs also.
Thanks,

I will - but keep in mind, other spells I used in the pyramid came out at 68, while DBF was out at 48.
Of course, there was a time when I was getting ALL kinds of wacky results from my spell penetration rolls, and wasn't as careful at looking which spell I was casting. I believe at once point I had three different spell penetration bonuses for the same spell, vs three different monsters. If you'll recall, I was babbling about it in party chat.
Still - I will check DBF outside the pyramid, but I suspect its possible that both results may be true.

We tested, and it is dbf that's bugged - using old casterlevel calc too I bet. Nice catch. Funky
