I have been told that an AA can get more then 10 attacks using the DB bow and HS secret so 2 questions.
1. Do you need all 5 HS levels to obtain the secret.
2. IF so how do you get over ten attacks because no matter how I see it it cant be done and I would like to know what I'm missing. Apparently it is a common build but have never seen an AA with 11 or more attacks.

Well, you cast tenser's transformation as a level 55 caster. It gives a +2 attacks and a full BAB for a total of +4, +1 for haste, +1 for rapid shot, so that's 8 naked. Then the DB gives you +1 and the HS gives you +2. So that's 11.

But you could never be a level 55 caster with the HS secret (requires 5 HS levels) and an AA level so I suspect that's not correct.

The AA example was to a question can you get more than 10 attacks. While an archer build cannot get more than 10 attacks per round it was used as an example in the other post to show that there are abilities that help to break through that barrier. If you read about the classes you will see what combinations can do this. Happy reading

So the DB bow cannot be used to break the 10 attack barrier then???
I was told that it is possble and reguarly done..
And a very reliable source said that HS and DB bows can be used to get over 10 attacks but I dont see it happening. I know that with other classes it is possible but I cant see how with the a bow?? I was told it is a very common build that uses HS and DB to get past 10 attacks.

You definitely can't do it with an AA build. If you are referring to the post I just locked, you misread it. Funky

Actually if that is true then I was the one misread because I stated the orginal answer given was flawed and should be checked. The original answer given to the question was that DB and HS can beat the 10 attack limit I just stated it needed to be checked because as it is shown here the DB bow cannot be used to break that limit. So I was correct that Chain had to review his answer.
I never said that it could not be done. I even gave an example showing it as possible. I was not trying to confuse anything I was just trying to clarify that the comment about the DB being used to beat the 10 limit was wrong.

I'm sorry you appear to be misinterpreting my original answer, I just commented that it was possible to have added attacks through a weapon or item (and quoted a couple of items that I knew added attacks) and not that you could specifically do it with an AA build using a DB bow. If I were you I'd take it a bit less seriously and prepare for this thread to get locked down as well.
