Since I want a build for hells I have decided to go with a DD. Even though the reflex saves are down a little from the rest I still think the saves are good enough for hells. You also get the fire immune with the 50% cold from Arctic Dwarf. Before I actually build this help me improve on it.
Dwarf - Arctic Dwarf Strength: 16 Dexterity: 13 Constitution: 15 Wisdom: 8 Intelligence: 12 Charisma: 12
Level Progression 5 Bard/10 Red Dragon Disciple/25 Dwarven Defender
Feats 1) Dodge 3)Toughness 6)Iron Will 9)Lightning Reflexes 12)Great Fortitude 15)Blind Fight 18)Weapon Focus Warhammer 21)Epic Weapon Focus Warhammer 24)Epic Reflexes 27)Armor Skin or Improved Critical Warhammer (cant decide) 29)Epic Damage Reduction 1 30)Great Constitution 1 33)Great Constitution 2, Epic Damage Reduction 2 36)Epic Will 37)Epic Damage Reduction 3 39)Epic Prowess 42)Legendary Reflexes 45)Legendary Will 48)Legendary Fortitude 51)Great Strength 1 54)Great Strength 2 57)Great Strength 3 60)Great Strength 4
Saves at 40(60) Fortitude: 31 (63) Reflex: 24 (56) Will: 30 (62)
Tell me how to improve this, please.

Have you checked out the Tin Can build? highergroundpoa.proboards3.com/index.cgi?board=builds&action=display&n=1&thread=1159869787Even if you decide to make changes, there's probably some useful info for a build such as this at that thread. p.s. Arctic Dwarves get 25% cold immune, not 50%. p.p.s. Try and get your Constitution to end on an even number if you can. Your Constitution modifier is what's important for hitpoints and Fort save, and that only increases for every 2 points in Constitution. If you're struggling to get to 21 CON for EDR, that's another issue..

The main reason for not following that build directly is the fact of changeing alignment every 8 or so levels This build is similar to the Tin Can but not exactly alike with feats, level progression, and such. - FyreChyld

tin can build is easy on alignment if done right, you change once between level 6 and 10, once at 39 and then one last time at 40. I've got a version in the works that gets 6 more strength, should hit saves of 64 65 64, at a loss of 9 points of damage reduction (no great loss for this build).

this is only 3 attacks a round yes? for a str tank, I am not that crazy about it

Take as many DD levels before 20 as you can. That's the only class in the mix here that gets 1/1 BAB. I'd suggest as least browsing the Tin Can forum for suggestions, the idea's been pretty well hashed out.

Compared to the latest tweak of the tin can, your build mainly differs by: -loss of 5ab (3 from str, 2 from pre-epic class choices) -loss of 2 ac (no tumble dump at 40) -loss of 1 attack (pre-epic BAB progress) -loss of 2 feats (dodge from blood and +1str at 15 levels RDD) -worse saves -less efficient starting stats (needing 13 dex for dodge and using 2 con feats to make up for that)
-gain of 14 damage shield (76 vs 90, no huge difference) -gain of 12 damage reduction (9 of that could be regained with minor tweaking, at a loss of 2 str) -gain of 3 stances a day (unimportant)
The only alignment changes you save yourself are at levels 37+, at which point you can walze down there drunk blindfolded and confused and not run into any problems at all.

I think you're better off with Tin Can. Alignment shouldn't be a consideration for a build unless you have to change every level or something ridiculous like that.

Yes! Let us alternate bard and monk levels in a 20bard/20monk build!! (or vice versa)
