There's been a lot of debate, and I'm just wondering what exactly the changes to Slippery Mind for Rogues (and I believe SD's) does now. It says:
So I'm just wondering what "protects against" means. Does that mean that you get a re-roll for mind effects other than spells? Or does it mean you're really "protected" in the sense that you're "immune", similar to the change to CoT's?
Thanks in advance.

Probably a reroll for its original intended effect.

It just extended the normal operation to include a few things besides mind spells. Funky

Since Funky doesn't tell ... I have a feeling that I'm hardly ever hit by WoF, whereas my other characters are constantly blinded at the Stingers or on the Sissy bridge.

I thought there was no save associated with the blindness effect from Word of Faith, other than spell resistance, or immunity to the effect (eg. Undeath's Eternal Foe) or immunity to the spell. p.s. My illithid got blinded plenty by WoF on the last few sissy runs/desert runs.

No spells were added, just a few creature abilities, to make it a somewhat useful feat for rogues to take. Funky
