I was wondering, what the main purpose of the blood fire mage is. I am building a casting version (based on the build by kobra) but edited to be a full caster. So I guess my question is, is the blood fire mage caster or tank more helpful? I am gonna take transmutation so I can get the wall for hells so I will be considered a wall mage with killer firebrand - FyreChyld

I don't think you're gonna tank in medium armor, especially not with 10 Sorc. levels and 10 RDD levels. I think you just load up Evo. specs and cast the spells on the list like there's no tomorrow.

Not sure how good my Bloodfire Mage will be in Hells, but I've had a blast leveling it up to 34. There's nothing quite as satsifying as massing entire maps (bandits, Plains of War, Fox Trail) and hellballing them into oblivion. At level 20.
One piece of advice: if you go the medium armor route, try to fit in the Extend Spell feat. Some good buffs--Displacement, Shadow Shield, etc.--don't benefit from RDD levels and have short durations. I'm already annoyed at not having the option to extend them.
Cheers, Perin
