i looked at the builds and stuff but can't figure out what the best build is for a treant I would skipp that race in generaly. It's slow, it's huge (have go small to go trough door and is often inthe way of other party members and has a fire vuln. But that might just be me the person i traded the treant subby to (for a db bow) was very happy. But to answer the main question. They get a wisdom bonus as main stat so use something that makes benfit of that. Common are Druids and shifters and sometimes monk rarely you see a cleric but wisdom wise that might work too but there are better subraces for cleric (kenku as secret anf Fallen angel as UR). My advise would be either a druid or a shifter.

I've built a Druid and an RDD both worked well, the RDD meant the fire vulnerability was negated and left me with a 25% Cold Immunity as well, a monk level made use of the Wis bonus and the STR bonus on it as well helped. Would make an excellent AA if it wasn't Human only lol. I wouldn't worry too much about it being slow, once you get haste and FOM it aint that bad. I suggest taking it to the test chamber and playing around with a few builds till ya get something ya like

its 50% immune to Cold btw, not to correct you, just to stick up for the much maligned tree people. Also the +10 animal empathy and a commonly available ring/gloves is totally enough to go and grab Oltum even if you do not have animal empathy as a class skill.
