Ok here is my question.
I have 20 skillpoints to spend (im an assassin)
What would you recommend: Discipline or Parry
On the Dispater run i saw one persons armor, shield and weapon turn to rust and a few other people's armor turn to rust. So it made me think that discipline might be a good thing.
after the tia and dis run we did 2 mino runs and we got wiped in less then 20 mins (both runs together). This mostly due to crits. I also like to state out that we had a group with good players and some who allready had the tag (before the crit update). This made me think adding parry skill to prevent crits is maybe even more usefull.
So.... what do you think.

Str assassin or Dex assassin? The Str assassin suffers more due to a lower ac but you should also have about 70% concealment to fall back on which will reduce the hit rate. Assassins will not be likely to tank well in the Hells so you're looking at selecting specific targets and off'ing them. If you have the opportunity pump both discipline and parry to max at level 20. You could take the view that discipline checks are the Tier 1s problems and do your best to avoid these creatures but basing your conclusion on a couple of failed Minauros runs is unwise I feel. My RDD did the Min run the other day with no parry (or class crit immunity) and I think I only died once but that was helped by a good party. Hopefully the re-incarnation system will let me get some more life out him yet with parry addition and feat changes
