*Currently* Demi-Godding HURTS the actual power of a character in most cases When they're in the Hells. Otherwise, it's all pluses. Going back for the third time with my AA now. He is right. Lot of pluses outside of hell. It sure is nice not worrying about fugue in Rona.

I am only guessing, cuz I am not there yet, but I would think there is still plenty of life available from playing a Demi over and over, provided you build it versatile enough to be able to defeat Big Asmo and "farm" certain loot-relevant areas. For example, my RDD is Maladomini-tagged, and hoping for Nessus within the next few weeks, and I suspect that I will continue to keep playing him afterwards, not only to try to get more hell tags, but for things like Pyrmid, for which he is very well suited, and perhaps thid runs for Succor Stones. (Note that I have only a few characters in my vault, probably unlike most people.)

I'm almost certain that even when you demi your RDD you will keep playing him. Its really nice to go to the Black Pyramid and not fear fugue or in fact go to the new areas without worrying about item loss. Not to mention the fact that your stats are all +2 or +4 better with all the attendant benefits this gives.

It gives you +2 again so +4 in total after the second round.

So.... if you had enough time, energy, and effort, you could technically demi your toon over so much that he will eventually get about 60+ points in every stat? Who knows, i'm sure there is someone crazy enough to do that. Of course, getting to demi is tricky enough, getting it 10 times over....

You wont get additional stat points after second time the1kobra, at least not how it is now.

'course dont most Demi-gods need no xp and only need BURs? I do not know that they only need BUR's. My DD carries 1 BU armor, 3 UR Full Plates, 5 set armors (3 Beholder,1 Thid and 1 Min?). What they need are combonations of gear best suited for their destinations. BURs certainly can offer the best options gear wise...but that is true for any level 60 toon...Demi, non Hell playing toons and everything in between. I would second the above...it is nice to have a Demi to do runs like the Pharlans or the Pyramid. It is SO easy to die / wipe on those runs. Peace, John.

good points. I forget that this mod is not about ONE character but rather the care, feeding, and breeding of your STABLE of builds. So just because a Demi probably has all the URs HE needs does not mean that the player has all the URs he needs by any means and thus a demi could be quite good for non-hells runs for other toons. Or the demi may, especially at first, I imagine have some holes in his own UR arsenal too. Good points.

Indeed, certain classes are more effected by demi penalties than others. At least by certain kinds of demi penalties. So, it also depends on which character you're going to demi. But, I must say, having two double demis, that demigodhood is worth it, if only because I think its a meaningful achievement on HG, and I'm stubborn enough to want to go all the way and take any character I have anywhere. And once you go once, there's no reason not to go twice. Plus, I do enjoy the extra ability to farm up certain things with relative safety. Indeed, risking BURs - and the time implicit in obtaining a specific one - for consumables like succor stones and biorejuvenators? No thank you. I farm those to aid me on the challenging runs, not to go and risk things I obtain as a reward for doing the hard runs. Plus, I'm vain, so the purpleness has its own satisfaction
