This is possible, and now relettively easy to do. Depending on the answers, I may either implement it as optional, or not do it at all.

How is this even a question?

Well it would save most of us a lot of time, but that time we invest to make sure we get those rolls is what separates us from those who really don't care. Still, I don't really see a problem with it; more HP is good.

So I totally go with the hell yeah response. If there was a toggle option from the emote wand that wouldn't hurt my feelings either.

It is a good idea would save ppl alot of time, but it also seperates those ppl that dont really have a clue.

I see a lot of comments about how rerolling for max hps seperates the good players from those without a clue. Lets be honest here for a moment. Will having the maximum number of hps keep you alive in the Abode? In the Furrow? No, it wont, you'll still die just as fast. The only thing that can save you in areas like those are good teamwork, an excellent build, and just sheer skill. HP's might keep you alive half of a round longer, but thats about it. Oh and if you couldnt tell, I said Hell yeah!!

I'm also of the opinion that someone that doesn't know how to roll and roll and roll in order to get max hp's doesn't stand much of a chance in the really hard areas, even if you give 'em max hp's.
On the whole, I see an auto-max hp setup as basically just saving time for everyone, and making it easier to level up in the middle of combat. (That's the only argument I could understand against maxing hp's.... wanting to discourage levelling up too easilly during combat.) So I vote heck yeah, save us all some time and automax those hp's. :-)

Hell yah
Why? Because I have clue (OK mebb only a small one) but I'm a lazy git, and get frustrated (especially for barbarians and DDs) trying to maxout.
There are a couple of levels in the teens where choices (spells, skills, feats+feat refinements like spell school or weapon choice) make maxing out a pain in the 'bottom. Same in early epic levels. How many times have I stood in the temple and said CRAP re-rolling?

Mark me down for Hell Yeah. I'd buy skills every level if HPs were maxed, way to long to buy skills 10 times each level . Since folks will get it anyway I don't see why not. Dave.

I heard there is a 1 in 10 chance of rolling a ten on a ten sided dice. Why then does it always take me 12 rolls to get the 10 I so desperately need..LMAO.
as you can tell Im in favour of the max Hp at each lvl. Saves time and I dont think it will skew the server, it still has a level of difficulty that I find fun

At last my thief wont spend what seems like days leveling then get 3hps and have to do it all again. Or worst case scenario you accidentally click on the yes button after having a few goes then have to port to town and get the priest to de-level you as clicked yes when you got duff hit points.

Could we get it retroactively applied?
Because some (stupid)(immortal) people I know (like me) went and made math mistakes after taking the toughness feat around level 39 or so and are short, but can't delevel to fix it.
Just a thought...

Short of relevelling the character, I don't think that's an option.

After you take Legendary levels it would actually start decreasing your hps, so no, fraid not, sorry. LL bonuses work by adding to the /LvlStatHitDie field in the bic file, and the hp maxer sets the same field equal to the max hps allowed according to the class 2da, so it would remove LL hp gains if we deleveled you.
