Another suggestion. When players do a !playerinfo could that text show up in one of the text windows where the saves show up?

Yet another suggestion. A clock that just picks up the system time. For 2 reasons. 1. Mages could use it to time Walls etc. 2. I don't have a clock near the PC and I am always asking Imaqt what time it is while we are playing.

Thanks 'Fang, will get these in when I can. Should probably add a GS timer too as it was on my todo already and would be quite easy to do. -Bort

A far out idea for dual boxers....
Is is possible to have this installed on one computer and analyze the game being played on another networked computer?

Is is possible to have this installed on one computer and analyze the game being played on another networked computer? Yes. All you need is access to the log files from the computer you use to play the game. You can change the log-file location in one of the .ini files. I save my log files to a location on a network disk and can access them from different computers (and they're also automatically being timestamped, stored and analyzed). Claus

A far out idea for dual boxers.... Is is possible to have this installed on one computer and analyze the game being played on another networked computer? Should be, I think Miraborg (aka oJorojos) tried this and it worked. To set it up, unzip and run the parser, click Ok when it asks for your log directory (ignoring the fact that it's pointing to the application directory) and then close the parser and open settings.ini from the directory you ran the parser from. Assuming your network is set up and your nwn log directory is 'Shared' on the network, you should be able to put the address of that folder into settings.ini right after NwnDir= on the second line. Once you've done that, save settings.ini, and run the parser again - hopefully it should work.

Very nice job Bort, I like this program a lot.
One suggestion that jumped out at me right away when I first started playing with it is this; the "row" of information for attacks (for example in the outgoing section, so AB, Hit/Crit, All, Physical, Cold, Fire, etc) doesn't stay matched as subsequent rows are added. What I mean is that if I make a hit, then every column gets updated with the relevant info (including 0 for Fire, Cold, etc if there was no damage of that type). As I hit again and again, they all scroll up together, and I can see at a glance what my stats were for any given hit. However, when I miss, only the AB and Hit/Crit columns get an entry, leaving all the damage amount columns where they were. This essentially breaks my "rows" of information, and I can no longer reliably correlate my AB, Hit/Crit and associated damage for that specific hit. Ideally, I'd like to see a dash (-) in all the columns that were "not applicable" if the attack result was a miss. That would keep all my "rows" in synch and when I scroll back I'll have an accurate record of the damage done on a specific attack.
I guess if you did that, you could also replace all those scroll bars for each column with just one scroll bar for the entire "table".

Oh I meant to also mention that this works great for single-monitor players, too. If you run NWN at the same resolution as your desktop, you can alt-tab to this program very quickly, very helpful for figuring out what gear you should be wearing for various enemies (for noobs like myself at least :).

Another nice little tweak would be if you could specify a list of character names somewhere in the ini file (or a separate file) and the "Analyze" box would offer the option of a drop-down so you could select a character name from that list. Obviously still be able to type one in.
