I'm using a macbook and used bootcamp to run winxp to play my nwn game which is for pc .So when i boot i get the choice of windows or osx. Then i saw this post , i installed virtual box on my osx partition and imported the nwniab.ovf file in the program, like its told on the post but i get this msg ; Shared folder path 'C:\games\NWN' is not absolute. i guess it doesnt find the folder because its on my bootcamp disk where my \NeverwinterNights\NWN folder is ... i don't know how to change the disk name, or i don't think it allows me to. If u guys have any suggestion on how i could fix that or run nwn.exe on my osx partition it would be great !

Just a word of explanation - the developer of NWNIAB is currently too busy to develop at the moment - I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a response. And no, unfortunately, I don't know when he'll be available again. Sorry I can't be of more help to you.

ty taking the time to answer. i used the virtualbox on my Mac osx for fun and i was able to install and run winxp ... i installed nwn too , but cant run it because of system req issues, i figured because of the emulation the program cant find the proper drivers such has video and sound ... i guess this is were nwniab comes in , but im not a programmer so ill keep playing on my bootcamp partition And running a os within another just consume to much ram to load 2 instance of nwn ... But if any1 knows another ways to run nwn in a windowed mode id love to know ... tabing from 2 nwn instances is a pain with this laptop

NWNIAB is not a setup for playing the game. It's solely for NWNServer development.
I use it to host a linux-based server. I've found nothing that will even allow me to open graphical programs (windows don't event exist. There's nothing to click.) You'd have to do some serious modding to get this to play NWN. Acaos doesn't even mention playing NWN with this. The descriptions and FAQ for this only discuss server hosting and server development.
Personally, I cannot wait for Acaos to get back and continue development. A configurable file (to set server name, rather than "+NWNIAB" would be AMAZING).

Just wanted to second that thought. NWNIAB is a really useful product and I'm holding out hope that at some point development can continue.
