Has Tenser's transformation changed in HG vs regular NWN?

Has Tenser's transformation changed in HG vs regular NWN? (aside from the 1 turn per level for staff masters)

In the regular mods, Tenser's transformation changed my appearance and rag doll.  Now, I see no difference and I do not become armed with that sword.  Is this because I am casting using the effect of a dagger, instead of a true cast?

I like to get every form imaginable when I play a shifter.  I was excited to see a dagger that could give me TT, but then disappointed when I didn't actually transform into a new form.

On a related note, is there any chance that there is a helmet like there was in Darkness over Daggerford, which bestows Polymorph self (I would like to get spider and zombie form, for fun) Or any chance there is a ShapeChange item (for Fire Giant) or some item that recreates Elemental shape?

Tensers Transformation
- No longer polymorphs the caster.
- At CL20, grants +((CL - 20) / 2) AB and +((CL - 20) / 2) Natural AC.
- Grants +CLd6 temporary HP, plus 12 temporary HP per CL above 40, reaching 60d6+240 at CL60.
- Grants +(CL / 4) Str, Dex, and Con, to a maximum of +12.
- Grants additional attacks at CL45 and CL55.
- At CL41 (or if the caster is a Staffmaster), increases Legendary BAB to that of a fighter if the caster has at least three levels in 1/1 BAB classes.

Doppelganger subrace has a quest that will let you to permanently transform into any medium size appearance, at DM's discretion (more specifically, Sabregirl is known to handle this stuff).
Several subraces and classes have the option to tweak their appearance a bit, for instance dragon disciples, pariahs, or palemasters (with both first and second transformation).

Hmmm, I was considering doppelganger, if I ever find it, although my real goal is that lycanthrope race, lythari, or a femal llolth-touched.

With that in mind, I accidentally sold my bomber bracelets. Does anybody remember where they are obtained?
