You can, unless the script checks for it and stops the loss. Ours do. Funky

I have changed my mind about this. I do think it is a good idea for sorc to be able to spend their exp to change spells.
Now what would help to support this would be an offer for Wizards, and here is a suggestion for them. They can make a non-drop/non-xfer once only item of any of their epics for 5 million exp.
As we expand on sorc over level 60 the suggestion balances out to let wizards expand upon their wizard book and scribing ability.
An alternative to enabling scribing of a non-drop epic spell, is to enable wizards for X million exp to craft a wand of any level that is also non-drop and has 10 charges, the power of the wand is equal to the wizard levels.
So yeah I think its a good idea for sorc to be able to change spells when level 60, and it would be great if Wizard could either scribe their epics or craft wands of any level (which would need to be done via pc scry or something).

Oh nice....thats a clever idea indeed...I was just thinking how having another use or two of the new abjuration feat would be nice..although at 5 mil I dont think Ill be banking on having this as much as using my rests more, esp, if the metas roll out..but the wand at caster power level (whatever) would be a truely usable item indeed and you could make this transferrable or not. Im not sure how you would script this to include the person's DCs etc etc but if its doable great, or just make it so wizards get craft wand for (a quest item similar to the wiz robe lets say...maybe even use that thids crystal for this ?) , eliminating a lot of wand makers in data bank limbo out there...or just stick with the epic item idea and make it a little less, say a million, as that would mean that for every few big runs you would get one or two bonus epic uses..for a while you might have a pile of starfires and missle barrages floating around, but they would quickly use themselves up Im sure. With scribing scrolls, wiz have already a use for xp after level 60. Not that I'm for or against lala's idea, but scribing scrolls as a use for xp past level 60? Scrolls cost so little experience compared to how much you have once you hit 60. It's akin to saying there's a use for gold for scribing scrolls.

True but it does not take into consideration the power increase of Wizard, meaning that at legendary they have their epics. Would be nice if they could either scribe those epics at a cost of exp, or able to craft wands of any lvl again at a more expensive cost than standards. This then reduces the impact of giving Sorc the ability to change spells when they hit lvl 60, and gives a good reason to go either Sorc or Wiz. Cheers Lala
