I strongly suggest 1 point into open lock/disable traps, even if you are a strength tank, if you don't already do so. As a HC toon, you are gonna need every little piece of treasure you can lay your hands on.
I'm also a big fan of need before greed when it comes to loot. If you need something we find, don't hesitate to ask because it may mean the difference between life and death. If more than 1 person needs an item, we can do a party roll right there and then.
I'm looking forward to Thursday! Jenna

I think I'm going to start a Shifter for HC Thursday this Thursday. I'll admit to my weakness and say that I'm using the Rowan, but I won't be using a secret subrace, so he'll be a level 3 druid when we start.
He'll be Bluetail of Clan Skyfall.
See you all Thursday night!

I think I'll do a cleric, unless someone has something else they'd like to see rather than having 2 clerics. Looks like we have no mages, but mages are so fragile early on. Also considering a druid, but their spells pop loot too often, and that would be VERY dangerous in HC, since you need everything you can find.

This is looking great! Since we have a lot of new people joining on Thursday, I'll bring the mage. Not sure yet if I will use the tree or a secret subby. It'll depend on how many people are logged on when I get on tonight and what levels they are. Jenna

If you want to be the HC party cleric, I would gladly switch to wizzy. I have some interesting ideas on HC wizardry, mainly centered around scribing and wand enchanting.

Which [HC] toon is going to come up with 100 million gp??? 100 million? I think you'll find it costs 500 million to create a guild in the current HG economy, so however they were going to get 100 they'll have to do it five times as much

So does HC mean u cant sell items in auction chest? If u somehow run across a, (say cob ring) that has been known to go for 500 mil in auction. Lol just a question guys. Cause i found my cob ring thats is responsible for most of my wealth in a lvl 7 to 13 area. And promptly sold it for 175 mil. I hadnt died yet or accepted money from anybody from being cautious. And there was a bid on a cob ring in same chest for 500 mil ! ;D

I won't be at HC thursday at 9 EST tonight - I'll be a bit late because my work christmas party is this evening. Hoping I don't miss all the fun! I'll definitely be on later.
Good luck, Acaos

I would say you can't sell to anyone other than other HCs, nor buy from anyone else. You can certainly transfer the items to another character to sell, though, so no need to miss out.

Thats cool, but in that case transfer of a subby book to use would also go against the "rules" i would think. Because you are recieving something from a none HC. Lol,, sorry to stir the pot. Especially as I dont know if I will be able to tag along so take my words with a grain of sand.
